My Role: ad creative direction, ad copywriting, project management, data analysis

The #JusticeforMariupol campaign brought awareness to the anniversary of Mariupol, Ukraine’s devastation. We took inspiration heavily from the film industry for the look and feel and guided designers to focus on the dichotomy of negative space/color to emphasize the personal, human impact of the war.

In collaboration with the media department and Digital Investigations Lab at HRW, we also incorporated organic video content into our ads. I managed production of paid media assets and helped develop the visual identity of the campaign, which was ultimately expanded to use across the organization on organic social and print.
